Alejandro‘s images float between the intimate and the expansive, his camera is less a tool than a habit of attention and his photographs less documents than acts of devotion to a place and its people.

A bird mid-air chasing dusk, a firefighter framing the U.S. flag, children chasing the retreating tide as though they could outrun the afternoon. Each frame holds the unhurried tempo of daily life with a seriousness of someone who understands that ordinary moments are in fact the rarest ones.
